Biography
Rostand Ndjiki (born 5 January 2004) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a forward. He is known for his versatility, capable of operating as both a central and a winger.
Early career
Ndjiki began his footballing development at the Emirati club Elite Falcons FC, where he honed his abilities as a young forward. His performance there paved the way for a move to European football, where he joined the youth academy of the Spanish LaLiga club CD Leganés in March 2023, joining the youth team in the under-19 age category.
Professional career
Later that year, he joined the Latvian club Super Nova on the basis of a lease agreement. He made his debut for the club on August 6, 2023 in the match against Riga FC, coming on as a substitute in the 64th minute. He scored his debut goal for the club on October 29, 2023 in important match against Riga FC. Throughout the season, he was one of the key players in the club, having distinguished himself with his only goal scored. At the end of the lease agreement in December 2023, he left the Latvian club.
FK RFS
At the beginning of 2024, he moved to the Latvian club FK RFS, calculated until the end of the season, on the basis of a lease agreement. The new season at the club began on March 2, 2024 with a match for the Latvian Super Cup, where they lost to Riga FC in the penalty shootout, but he himself remained on the bench. In July 2024, together with the club, he went to the qualifying matches of the UEFA Champions League, where in the second qualifying round they lost to the Norwegian club Budø-Glimt, having already been eliminated in the UEFA Europa League qualification. At the end of the season, together with the club, he became the winner of the Virslīga championship. He also helped the team become the winners of the Latvian Cup, by scoring crucial goals against Latvia's top three clubs, including Riga FC, Valmiera, and in the final match against Auda.
During one of the most successful and historic seasons in the history of RFS, he was part of the squad that participated in the UEFA Europa League campaign. He was included in the squad for the decisive play-off matches against APOEL, which secured the team's qualification for the tournament's league phase. Throughout the competition, he gained experience as part of the team during matches against high-profile European clubs, including FCSB, Galatasaray (a 2:2 draw), Anderlecht (a 1:1 draw), and Dynamo Kyiv. Shortly thereafter, he suffered an injury that prevented him from contributing fully to the team's efforts throughout the rest of the Virslīga season.
At the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, he officially completed a permanent transfer to RFS, confirming that the Cameroonian forward would remain in Rīga beyond his initial loan spell. In total, he has recorded six goals and three assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for the club. FK RFS have underlined their belief in Ndjiki by offering him a two-year contract, which also includes an option for an extension.
Returning from his injury at the start of the 2026 Virslīga season in March, he was loaned to BFC Daugavpils. He has since established himself as a key member of the starting eleven, helping the team maintain a position in the top four of the league table. In his first eight matches for the club, he has been productive, recording three goals and three assists. At the end of the season, together with the club, he became the winner of the championship.
