Philosophical work
Considering the concept of "information" in a broad philosophical and scientific context (from Eastern religious teachings and ancient Greek natural philosophy to the concepts of intelligence, reason, power and government of the Modern period and modern politics, society, economy, Cybernetics, media and other stirring or management concepts implemented in life through the use of quantum technologies, IT, including artificial intelligence technologies, Big Data, etc.), R. Dymerets analyzes the development of philosophical and scientific concept of information from the ancient times to the present, suggests an ontology approach to the understanding of the concept of "information", demonstrates the connection between the concepts of "being", "information", "thinking", "power". Based on the application of the new approach to the understanding of information, R. Dymerets rethinks such concepts as "being", "perception", "thing", "reality", "consciousness", "unconscious", "knowledge", "language", "representation" (he introduces a fundamental distinction between "informative representations" and "performative representations"), "imagination", "communication", "society", "relations", "justice", "freedom" etc., offering a holistic multifaceted modern picture of the world, which can have a variety of fruitful practical applications.
