Ruby Bhatti
Ruby Bhatti, OBE, DL is a solicitor and dedicated her life to an advisory role for her home city of Bradford.
Early life
Born in Bradford, she graduated from Huddersfield in Law.
Career
She joined criminal law firm Rafiq and Co, qualifying in July 1997. She then went to work for Hammond Suddards Solicitor’s subsidiary arm Hammond Direct. Practicing as a consultant solicitor at Taylor Price, where she specialises in clinical negligence and litigation, and has experience with Family law and Employment law.
Honours
Ruby was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2019 New Year Honours for services to Young People and to Housing.[1]
Ruby was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Bradford in 2020.[2]
Ruby was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant (DL) in 2023 to be part of the West Yorkshire Lieutenancy.[3]
