Ruby Moss is a Dublin born singer songwriter. She grew up in Trim, County Meath but moved to Cabra in Dublin when she attended St Patrick's Cathedral Choir School.[1] She released her first single, 'Ruby's Song' on her 14th birthday and it entered the iTunes Singer Songwriter Charts the same day at #2. It went to #1 the next day. All proceeds from the sale of this song are being donated to Jigsaw and to Go Vegan World[2]

Moss plays the piano, the flute, the button accordion and the guitar. She was awarded an organ scholarship in Dundalk Grammar School.

In October 2021, Moss was selected to participate in the Creative Lab Programme with the National Concert Hall to write music for the New Music Festival in Dublin in April 2022.

In December 2021, she was selected by An Taisce to be a Climate Ambassador for 2022.

Moss is vegan and an environmentalist. She was brought up as a vegetarian and became vegan when she was aged 8.

She performed her neo-classical piece written for piano, flute and electric guitar at the New Music Festival Dublin on May 1st 2022 at the National Concert Hall. The event sold out.

In September 2022, Moss played Vantastival Festival. She performed a set of original songs in The Glass House. She played Spencer Dock on Culture Night, September 23rd. She was accompanied by Ben Prevo, guitarist.

She has released a new single on 25 September 2022 called "Pretend". Pretend was playlisted by RTE Radio 1 on 30 September 2022[3]

Moss cites here influences as ELO, Fleetwood Mac and Chopin. She was inspired by Susan O Neill and Sharon Shannon to become a musician[4]
