Rufus Theodore Ballard Martin (born 26th December 1994) is a British production designer, product designer and founder of the Hanging Tent Company.
Biography
Born in Dorset, Rufus attended Bryanston School (2008–2013). At Bryanston School he designed and patented the roomoon hanging tent. The design was shortlisted for the Creative Enterprise Award in 2014.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] Between 2013–2016 Rufus was mentored by the Set Designer Michael Howells; leaving him with a preference for classicism.[8] He went on to do a degree in Set Design for Screen at Wimbledon College of Arts graduating in 2017.[9]
