Rukmini Vasanth (born 16 December 1996) is an actress in the Kannada film industry. Rukmini, an alum of Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London made her debut with the Kannada movie Birbal and is part of upcoming movies such as Sapta Sagaradaache Ello.[1], Baanadariyalli[2] and Bagheera[3]

Biography

Rukmini Vasanth was born on 16 December 1996. She was born and brought up in Bangalore by her father Col. Vasanth Venugopal and mother Subhashini Vasanth.

She was educated at Army School, Air Force School and Centre for Learning. She received a degree from Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, London.

Career

Rukmini first came into light with the 2019 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film written and directed by MG Srinivas. The film is the first instalment of the Birbal Trilogy.[4] She later bagged the roles in popular Kannada films such as Sapta Sagaradaache Ello[1], Baanadariyalli[2] and Bagheera[3]. All of which are yet to be released.
