Rumel Khan (Bengali: রুমেল খান); born 17 September 1976) is a Bangladeshi sports repoter, columnist & teacher. He is recently working as sports correspondent in Bengali newspaper daily Janakantha.[1][2] His reporting styles of sports have got popularity all the sports lover across the country.[3][4]
Naming story[edit]
Rumel named by his Grandfather (Nana) Late Ayub Ali (Rtd Director, BPDB) He inspired by German Generel Johannes Erwin Eugen Rommel, who was the most powerful Field Mashall of second world war. He betrayed Adloff Hitler, leader of the Nazi Party. Hitler gave him sentenced to death.

The only achievement of being the table tennis champion in the sports competition of two organizations of journalists (Dhaka Reporters Unity and Bangladesh Sports Press Association) held in the same year (2 times, in 2016 and 2019
