"Run Free" is a song by Italian artist Deep Chills, released in August 2017 by Miami Beats.[1] The single gained immense popularity on TikTok[2][3] with over 10 million user videos and billions of views under the #ShoeChallenge, where TikTok users would change their shoes on the beat of the song[4], making it one of the most popular songs worldwide on TikTok in 2018[5][6] and the #2 most popular song in Japan[7]. The song would later go viral again with other notable challenges like the #HairColorChallenge challenge on TikTok[8] and later on Instagram Reels[9]. Run Free was recently named the #7 most recognizable song on TikTok by Popsugar[10].
