Rupert Gather
Rupert Edinmore Gather (born 22 May 1962) is a British entrepreneur best known for founding InvestUK[1] and as a commentator on social issues, including a TEDx talk on ‘How to be a Patriot in an age of Globalisation’[2].
Life and career
Rupert Gather was born in Ashbourne, Derbyshire (UK) in May 1962 and served in the British Army, including active service in The First Gulf War[3]. He founded InvestUK in 2011, promoting Foreign Direct Investment and remains as Executive Chairman. He is married to Charlotte Mairi Villiers and has two children.
