Rupp Engineering is a family-owned[1] and operated source[2] for custom-designed tooling[3] and secondary machines[4]. They have over 20 years of combined experience[5] in the plastic process tooling industry, specializing in forming and joining. They proudly serve their customers[6] with speed and precision. Rupp Engineering can help with your prototype or production tooling project[7], from concept to design and build.
Information[edit]
Rupp Engineering[8] is a group of hands-on engineers. Almost all of their tooling projects[9] are designed, fabbed, machined, and assembled in their Fraser, MI facility. This keeps costs and lead times low for our customers. If a project does require a process outside of our capabilities, they have outstanding relationships with our local vendor base[10][11].
They have multiple large envelope 3-axis VMC's / HMC's, being programmed by the latest high-speed 3D CAM software. Their engineers are trained to ensure the quality of our final product is consistent with the quality of our designs.
Build and design[edit]
Our design capabilities are what set us apart from the competition. The Rupp design team has spent countless hours behind the tube to achieve an expert level of parametric modeling. The breadth of our experience revolves around tooling for the forming and joining of thermoplastics. We can also help with end-product design and development.
Every project is designed, utilizing Solidworks CAD software, down to the last detail. We can design high quality tooling against part data from any major CAD platform.
The Rupp Engineering design team is very detail oriented. We work closely with our customers to achieve a durable product that meets their prototype or production needs.
