Kevin Gifford of Newtype USA in a favourable review has compared this manhwa to Fushigi Yûgi and stated that it is not "the most obvious choice for an autumn Saturday afternoon's reading".[42] In his review of volume one Leroy Douresseaux of Comic Book Bin gave it a B.[43] Greg Hackmann of Mania Entertainment has commented on the unoriginal artwork in his lukewarm review nevertheless giving volume one a B.[44] A. E. Sparrow of IGN has commented favourably on the costume design, humour, sub-plots, and action sequences giving volume one a rating of 7.5.[45] On the French web site Planète BD, Fabien Pfaender gave volume one a score of 1 out of a maximum of 5.[4]
