Russian Bot Accusation

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

A Russian Bot Accusation is a logical fallacy, a specific subtype of ad hominem, used online generally on American social media platforms[1] in which one accuses the opponent of being in fact a Russian controlled Social bot, dismissing their opponents claim as Propaganda. May stem from Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections. Since the 2016 election news agencies had made use of fake social media accounts posing as Americans in order to influence the election[2] which may contribute to the recent use of the Russian Bot Accusation logical fallacy in American social media
