Ruwayda Mustafah
Ruwayda Mustafah is a prominent British-Kurdish political activist, and women’s rights advocate[1], currently tracking the scale of violence against women across the Iraqi Kurdistan Region using the women.krd tracker. She is also the author of multiple children's stories[2].
In 2019, she founded Hope Autism Society, a volunteer-based advocacy group that promotes awareness on individuals diagnosed with autism. In 2022, she successfully campaigned for the airports in Iraqi Kurdistan Region to adopt an autism-friendly approach to ensure those with learning difficulties have an easier experience at the region's dual airports[3].
