Ryan Alan Coe (born January 16, 1973) is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Kennesaw State Owls. He played college baseball at Cleveland State Community College before transferring to Kennesaw State where he played for head coach Mike Sansing from 1994 to 1995 before playing professionally from 1995 to 1997.

Playing career

Coe attended Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School[1] and played college baseball at Cleveland State Community College where he was an All-American. He then transferred to Kennesaw State University where he helped the Owls win the 1994 NAIA World Series. Coe was drafted in the 40th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball draft. Coe spent three years in the Astros' organization before deciding to retire from playing.

Coaching career

Coe then became a scout for the Texas Rangers.[2]

On July 17, 2021, Coe was named the head coach of the Kennesaw State Owls.[3]
