Ryan Dean is an American actor and musician.
Early life
Dean was born in Los Angeles. At the age of 9, he was a national yo-yo champion. He was actively playing drums by the age of 13 in his first band. By high school, Ryan was experimenting with a variety of music styles, which he decided to further pursue at California State University, Northridge.[citation needed]
In 2009, Ryan recorded music for Blizzard Entertainment for their upcoming World of Warcraft video game. During this period of time, he was also playing drums for several bands: Anita & the Yanks, an Irish Folk Band, and The Atomic Sherpas, a progressive rock band. He was also the drummer for The Hammerheads and The Equalizers. Ryan has played in several musical projects with Anton Yelchin. Ryan Dean is a cousin of Oscar-winning actress, Shelley Winters. His father was formally trained in theatre under Lee Strasberg.[1][2]
