Varsity Scoreboards, formally known as S'portable Scoreboards, is an American manufacturer of electronic scoreboards, based in Murray, Kentucky. Founded in 1986 by Mike Cowen, Varsity Scoreboards is a family-owned company that grew from a manufacturer of portable scoreboards to one of the nation's major manufacturers of permanent scoreboards.

Wireless Technology[edit]

Varsity Scoreboards is the innovator of wireless technology. They were the first scoreboard manufacturer to have wireless controllers for their scoreboards. They still use that technology today.

Affiliations[edit]

Varsity Scoreboards are used by all professional team organizations including the NFL, MLB, and NBA as well as many public school districts and parks.
