Sílvia Orriols Serra (9 October 1984), is a Catalan nationalist politician who defends the independence of Catalonia.
Biography[edit]
Sílvia Orriols was born in Vic on 9 October 1984. Her first contact with politics was with the pro-independence party Estat Català (Catalan State in English), a formation where she contested the European elections in 2004.[1]
Since 2019, she has been a member of the Ripoll City Council[2]. In October 2020, she promoted a new party, Aliança Catalana[3] (Catalan Alliance in English), a pro-independence formation that wants to curb immigration[4], defend the market economy[5] and achieve the reindustrialization of Catalonia.
