S.P. Joseph Lyons is an indigenous (Anishinaabe Algonquin) author, and survivor of the Sixties Scoop.[1].
His published works include the DRUX series, Little Bear in Foster Care, Wolf Pup Misses His Pack, and the Nootau Tales trilogy, co-author of Rose’s Thorns, and has had work featured in several collaborative and charity publications.
Little Bear in Foster Care was the winner of the First Nation Communities READ's 2022-2023 PMC Indigenous Literature Award[2]
