S Rahul (born 1997 in Kattakada, Trivandrum, Kerala) is an aspiring young poet in Malayalam.[3] His poems and articles have been published in many periodicals.[4] He has also translated many poems and literary works. He is an active social activist and orator.[5] His poem 'Neram Paraparannu Karukkana Vaikuneram'(നേരം പരപരാന്നു കറുക്കണ വൈകുന്നേരം) was a strong political poem which was widely read and discussed.[6] He is also a member of cultural organisation Purogamana Kala Sahitya Sangham.[7][8]
Career as writer[edit]
S Rahul won two times Best Poet Award from Kerala University. He was a recipient of K V Anoop Smaraka Kavitha Puraskaram in 2019 and Thirunalloor Karunakaran Kavitha Praskaram in 2018. He also received Loka Kerala Sabha Poetry Prize for Best Malayalam Poem.
