SCP – Secret Laboratory is a free indie supernatural horror multiplayer video game developed by Northwood Studios[1][2]. It is based on the single-player game SCP - Containment Breach, which is itself based on the paranormal fictional stories of the SCP Foundation website[2]. The game is played in 3D from a first person perspective and the player is either D-Class Personnel, Scientist, Facility Guard, Nine-Tailed Fox Agent, Chaos Insurgency Agent, or an SCP entity. The game has a procedurally generated play area created from a random selection of pre-existing rooms and hallways that are strung together to create the facility which is played in.[3]
Gameplay[edit]
SCP Secret Laboratory is a multiplayer first person horror game set in the SCP Universe. The players control 6 different classes, each with different objectives:
- D Class Personnel are expendable personnel that the Foundation uses as test subjects, whose main goal is to escape the facility and avoid other teams.
- Researchers are the main personnel of the Foundation responsible for researching the various SCPs and their main goal in the game is to cooperate with the guards and mobile task force operatives to escape.
- Facility Guards are the security personnel of the Foundation who are tasked with helping the scientists and cooperating with mobile task force operatives in terminating the SCPs in the game.
- SCP Entities are the different enities kept by the Foundation, their goal is to survive and kill all personel exept for the Chaos Insurgency agents.
