History

In 1979 SMAN 52 Jakarta was a filial class [id] of SMA Negeri 15 Jakarta. Under the leadership of Mr. Rafli Rusli, on 27 March 1981, the filial class then became SMA Negeri 52 Jakarta.[1]

Curriculum

SMAN 52 Jakarta uses 2013 Curriculum [id] as standard national high school curriculum.[2] Previously it used KTSP Curriculum [id].

Awards and recognition

During the 2019 national exam, SMAN 52 Jakarta managed to reach second place at the city level.[6] In 2020 SMAN 52 Jakarta is also one of the schools that reached the top 1000 on The Joint Entrance Selection of State Universities (SBMPTN) with the rank of 502nd at the national level and 80th at the provincial level.[7]

In 2019, SMAN 52 achieved autonomous level of Adiwiyata (adiwiyata mandiri) after previously achieving the national level. Adiwiyata is a joint program by The Ministry of Education and Culture and The Ministry of Environment and Forestry to encourage more schools to become green schools and environmentally sustainable.[8]
