SUNNY (Film)

Sunny is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language drama film written, produced and directed by Ranjith Sankar. The film stars Jayasurya in the title role. Cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan, editing by Shameer Muhammed and music is composed by Sankar Sharma. Sunny marks the 100th project of Jayasurya. Sunny is produced under the banner Dreams N Beyond Pvt.Ltd. Sunny is set to be released in 2021.

Plot

Sunny has lost everything that he earned in his life - his love, his money and his best friend. Shattered and hopeless, he smuggles himself back from Dubai to Kerala in midst of a global pandemic and shuts himself from the society.

He befriends a bunch of curious strangers in these seven days, with each person adding a different shade to his already murky myriad of colours. What unfolds in these seven eventful days, as he battles his depression to finally overcome and face life again, forms the crux and essence of the narrative
