Raid[edit]

Hassan Veneziano initiated a campaign where he directed a cohort with 2,000 Moriscos to partake in a corsair expedition, utilizing 22 galleys, with the objective of conducting raids on Alicante in Spain.[1][2] Subsequently, Hassan Veneziano executed a raid on Alicante, seizing a substantial number of slaves, prior to his withdrawal towards Algiers.[1][3][4]
