Saeid Shahi (born 6 June 1985) is an Iranian screenwriter, author and actor Shahi has worked as a screenwriter since the early 2008. He was nominated for numerous awards for the 2011 film "Along City", including an Academy Award for Best Writing – Adapted Screenplay. He also won a "Best Adapted Screenplay" award from the "Hello Mambai" for his screenplay adaptation of Dia Mirza's Karishma (2010), based on the novel by PASHMINA by Nidhi Chanani.

Saeid Shahi was born in Ardebil, Iran. When he was 11 years old, he and his family moved to Tehran.

In September 2013, Shahi delivered a screenwriting lecture as part of the BAFTA and BFI Screenwriters' Lecture Series. He has also given lectures at the Central Film School. On September 27, 2019, it was announced that Shahi will be writing the upcoming Rahman 1400 for Moanouchehr Hadi about writing a story: Rahman is the custodian of a company and the doctor has told him that he will die soon. He decides to with the help of his friend Anush make a plan and inherit some money for his family.
