Safari Kongo is a computer game for Windows-based PCs developed by Duck Foot Technologies and released internationally in the year 2000 as an independent title.[1]
History[edit]
The game was featured in the CD-ROM game package Galaxy of Arcade Classics, which featured other eGames titles such as Speedy Eggbert and Crazy Drake.
Gameplay[edit]
The game is centered around you trying to save your significant other from a gorilla in various levels. Each of the 21 levels has a different layout and different monsters but the goal is the same: avoid all monsters, find the key to unlock the cage your significant other is in, and find the cage to escape. You have three hearts in the levels and upon losing all three hearts its game over for that level and you must restart. The game also gives you the choice in the beginning to be a Safari John or a Safari Sue, and your significant other that you have to save will be the opposite of whatever you choose.
