SafetyCulture is an Australia-based technology company operating under the Software as a Service (SaaS) model through the mobile app, iAuditor.[1] The company's main office is in Sydney, with regional offices in Kansas City, Manchester, and Manila[2]. Founded in 2004, SafetyCulture specializes in mobile-first and Internet of Things (IoT) technology for occupational safety and health and quality management[3]. It raised its first round of funding at the end of 2014[4]. The latest funding round was led by New York investment firm Tiger Global Management in 2018[5].
SafetyCulture launched the iAuditor mobile inspection app in February 2012[6]. The app enables users to create a safety or quality checklist template with dynamic fields and workflow[7]. The web-based analytics platform manages and analyzes data captured through iAuditor to uncover insights and workplace trends[8]. It is used by inspection workers across the globe[9], checking safety and quality from high-hazard environments such as the construction industry to supermarkets, hotels, and clothes retailers[10]
