Safiya Umoja Noble: Ethics and Algorithms in AI

Safiya Umoja Noble is an American information studies scholar whose research focuses on algorithmic bias and data discrimination. She is best known for her book Algorithms of Oppression (2018), which exposes how search engines and AI systems reinforce racism and sexism.
