Sagae Hachimangu is a Shinto shrine located in Japan. It is a Beppyo shrine, or a shrine that is particularly notable in a certain way with a significant history to it.[1]. It is a Hachiman shrine, or a shrine dedicated to the kami Hachiman[2] In Japanese religion, Yahata (八幡神, ancient Shinto pronunciation) formerly in Shinto and later commonly known as Hachiman (八幡神, Japanese Buddhist pronunciation) is the syncretic divinity of archery and war,[3][4][5] incorporating elements from both Shinto and Buddhism.
