Sahasra Siracheda Apoorva Chinthamani is a Tamil remake of Aayiram Thalai Vaangi Apoorva Chinthamani.
Plot
Princess Chinthamani desires glory and a wicked magician in the disguise of a sadhu, with an innate desire of gaining absolute power, promises to fulfil her wish if she follows his advice. He gives three questions to her that are in fact his misdeeds, to be posed to the princes, and if the answers are wrong, the prince will be beheaded. Chinthamani’s suitor, the Purandhara king, is the first to fall victim to Chintamani. When the death toll reaches 999, prince Pratap arrives with his friend Kaali, befriends Kamalakshi, the confidante of Chinthamani, gets the questions, sets on a conquest, returns with the answers. Eventually, the fake sadhu is beheaded by one of his victims, a king, and all the 999 slain princes are brought to life, and thus the story ends on a happy note with Pratap marrying Kamalakshi and Chinthamani marrying Purandhara Maharaja.
