Md. Saidul Islam Rana (born 25 November 1991) also known by his screen name Saidul Islam Rana, is a Bangladeshi film director, producer and screenwriter,[1] He is known for his directorial debut film Birotto (2022).[2][3]
Early life and education
Saidul Islam was born in Rajbari on 25 November 1991. His father, Md. Bablu Mulla, was a Businessman and his mother, Sazeda Begum, is a housewife. In 2013, Saidul Islam Rana completed his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Dhaka International University.[1]
Career
In 2013, Saidul Islam Rana made his first Drama Serial Shomporko. Later he made Soap Opera, Single Episode Drama, TVC and Short Films. His Short Film The Speechless (2021)[4] was nominated in 16th International Short and Independent Film Festival.[5]In 2022, Saidul Islam Rana made his first Feature Film BIROTTO[6] the production of the film was completed by Ping Pong Entertainment.[7][8][9]
