Salah D. Qanadli

Salah D. Qanadli (born May 8, 1964) is a Swiss-French radiologist.[1] He is the President of the Swiss Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (SSVIR).[2][3]
Education[edit]
In 2001, he obtained a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Technology.[2][4][3]
Career[edit]
Qanadli started teaching in 1992 at the University Rene Descartes Paris V (FR) before the University of Montreal (CA) in 2000-2002.[4] Qanadli is also been teaching at the University of Lausanne (CH) since 2002, the University of Kingston London since 2009 (UK), and the University of Health Sciences Mohammed 6 (MA) since 2019.[2]
Qanadli focused his research on quantitative medical imaging.[5] In 2001, he developed, a score (known as the Qanadli score or Qanadli index) to quantify clot burden in pulmonary embolism using computed tomography.[6][7]
He is the author of three patents[2]
- Multimodality imaging phantom and process for manufacturing said phantom[8]
- Automatic detection and accurate segmentation of abdominal aortic aneurysm[9]
