Salak Milyoner is a 1974 Turkish comedy film directed by Ertem Eğilmez.[1] The film tells of brothers’ journey to Istanbul in pursuit of a treasure. The film's success caused an immediate urge for its sequel to be made, called "From the Village to the city". The main cast difference between these two films is that the former stars Münir Özkul and Adile Naşit, opposed to the sequel's Leman Çıdamlı and Tekin Akmansoy as the secondary pivotal roles.[2]
