Salar Zarza (born September 23, 1981) is a Kurdish-Iranian filmmaker, actor, writer, and martial artist based in the Netherlands. He is the founder of True Spirit Productions, a division of True Spirit Entertainment, focused on international film projects. He has worked with notable Hollywood actors such as Costas Mandylor, Richard Burgi, Silvio Simac, Ron Smoorenburg, Christopher Atkins, and Kim Feenstra. His latest film, *Out for Vengeance*, has received international attention and media coverage.

Early Life and Background

Salar Zarza was born in Rezaiyeh, Iran, and moved to the Netherlands at the age of three. His upbringing between two cultures has influenced his artistic style, blending Western cinematic techniques with Middle Eastern storytelling traditions. He studied International Law at the University of Groningen before pursuing a full-time career in film.

Career

Zarza played the principal role as businessman Walid Rami in *A Facebook Romance* (2012), where his character becomes the love interest of Lebanese supermodel and actress Lamitta Frangieh. The film was featured at the Monaco International Film Festival, where it won several awards.[1]
