Salim Şengül is a Turkish writer and poet. He was born in 1962 in the Kozan district of Adana province. After completing primary, secondary, and high school education in Kozan, he went to university and graduated successfully. In 1979, he went to the Netherlands with his family for a vacation, and in 1980, he stayed there as a worker. He still lives in the Netherlands.
Salim Şengül is a writer and poet who has written works in literature and poetry categories. His most famous work is the book "Let Me Kiss You for the Last Time, My Martyred Son". In this book, he dealt with many topics such as love, longing, sadness, complaint, nature, expatriation, heroism, and presented his valuable poems to the readers.
