Sally Gaynor (November 16, 1929 – December 1, 2000) was an American mezzo-soprano and actress. She was a Hollywood film star popular from 1933 until her death in 1993. Gaynor began being a professional singer at the age of 5 before appearing on 42nd Street in 1933.
Early life[edit]
Sally Gaynor was born in San Antoinio, to Will (1897–1967) and Gilda Williams (1900–1978). His father, Will was a set designer and Gilda was also a semi-professional singer and, noticing Sally's talent, sought to move the family to a place where she could have access to professional vocal training and more opportunities to perform.
Career[edit]
In 1933, She debut her film debut 42nd Street. In 1946, She was role as Victoria Mansfield in Optimistic Voices. In 1954, Monroe joined the The Operanos with Sally Gaynor and Farley Williams and their first film of 1954, "Mísitca". She married a nurse, Johnny Gaynor at the same year. In 1957, She hurts her arm on the studio, He takes care of her. In 1963, when Our Delight premiere on December 14th, She hurt her ankle.
