Sally Aly Shaheen (born December 28, 1972) is an Egyptian Entrepreneur, HR Director, and Managing Director.[edit]

Sally Shaheen's former role was Corporate Human Resources Director at Americana Group’s Center of Excellence with the responsibility for the talent acquisition systems and activities that spans 12 branches with a headcount of over 60,000 employees from 23 different nationalities.

• Reducing turn over, improved retention and reduced cost of hire by enhancing the selection system and process across the entire group by providing training and system implementation for more than 300 participants and across 13 countries using DDI’s Targeted Selection methodology • Built a solid HR system for sister companies in the group and enhancing overall HR function of the newly acquired companies • Delivering successful training programs and leadership development programs • Participated in the establishment and design of the full strategy of corporate competency framework and assessment for the group • Certified over 200 Americana managers, enhancing the selection process within Americana to respond more efficiently to the company’s massive talent acquisition needs. • Applied the DDI Selection System to be an integral part of the Selection process and the base for Staffing activities in the entire group. • Delivered DDI programs to other organizations as a Master Trainer such as EK Holding, NatGas, Berlitz, FGF , Sprea Misr, Alfi Foundation etc… • Worked directly with DDI with other clients delivering the Targeted Selection interviewer workshop such as Riyadh bank , Kone Qatar • Overseeing the talent acquisition activities for Americana Group’s both divisions: Restaurants and Fast Moving Consumer Goods; responding to the company’s massive talent acquisition needs that reaches thousands of open positions at any given time. • Enhanced & updated HR Systems and training. • Played a vital role during the restructuring process for Americana Group and was responsible for the communication role during the transformation phase in addition to her active participation and efforts in different committees, workshops and project teams. • Received several awards from both Yum International and Americana Group such as Yum Human Capital Builder of the Year, Yum Supporter for Building Great Restaurants to name a few.[2]

June – August 2018. Participated in the creation of the Management development program for 500 middle managers in the oil and gas industry by reviewing the competency model, the selection and assessment process, the panel interviews and the training for the panelists from the top management among the sectors. 2018 – 2021. Participated in different projects for implementing 360-degree HR systems. From competency model creation, to streamlined organization structure, Job descriptions, performance management system, selection system and process and policies and procedures manual. Jan – Date 2021 worked closely with a regional medical corporation on the selection and assessment of their executive team and ensuring providing the best caliber in place.

Sally has 28+ years of solid experience in Human Resources management and learning and development. She is currently the managing partner of a Human Resources Consultancy firm, offering full-fledged HR services and training for Egypt and the region. It is a local organization with international affiliation providing its customers with best solutions capitalizing on the expertise of its partners. Sally has successes in gaining the trust of different organizations from diversified industries, governmental and non-governmental, local, regional and international entities. Among various achievements during this period is working closely with one of the ministries to develop the Middle Management program for development and promotions tracks. Also, participating in developing HR Capacity Building Program for the entire population of one of the ministries, for a population of over 3000 HR practitioner on different levels. In addition to various Successful HR consultancy projects and Training and development interventions for different industries and organization sizes across the region with a track record of success and satisfied customers. Sally’s former role was the Corporate Human Resources Director in the Centre of Excellence, for a regional conglomerate that has headcount of 60,000 employees from 23 different nationalities spreading over 13 different countries across the region. In addition to her vital role in Organization Development, HR Communication, HR analytics, Talent Management and Training and development. She was also an effective and integral member of the transformational team during acquisition and transformation phase for the group.

She has worked in various consultancy projects throughout her career whether as an internal consultant during her role in Centre of Excellence or as an independent consultant with different organizations Consultancy scope includes but not limited to organization development, restructuring, talent mapping, talent management and Building people capability.

Sally has extensive training and development experience during her corporate tenure where she was an integral member of the learning and development Senior team and has delivered training for middle management and executive teams. She has also built capacity in the team by offering train the trainer workshops. She has also successfully delivered functional and soft skills training to different organizations in Egypt and the region. Her experience covers different industries such as food and beverage, hospitality, FMCG, Oil and Gas, Renewable energy, and banks.
