Sally The Zombie Cheerleader is a public-access television, cable TV, and Internet horror host. Sally's The Zombie Cheerleader's School of Horror.
Format
Sally's original goal was to teach all monsters, mainly zombies, how to survive the fleshie onslaught. "It was us against the fleshies." Sally used old horror movies as teaching aids in her class. The show ran from around 2005 to 2007.[1] Sally then rebranded her show, The Zombie Cheerleader Show,[2] where she moved on to more of a magazine type of show with old horror shows visiting strange locations, horror conventions, trying to figure out the meaning behind all those 'fleshies.' (Sally the Zombie Cheerleader uses the word 'fleshie' to describe all humans.) The Zombie Cheerleader Show debuted in 2009. In 2022, Sally rebooted The Zombie Cheerleader's School of Horror. Both shows present public domain films, "B" monster movies, fun facts about 'fleshie' holidays, bizarre facts, and trivia.
Characters
Sally the Zombie Cheerleader appears on screen as a black and white negative of a zombie Cheerleader with skull-topped ponytails, wearing a "Zombie U" cheerleading uniform, fishnets, and Chuck Taylor All-Stars. She acts as a zombie host broadcasting from her 'zombie lair' and her only reference to the fleshies are the B-movies she presents.
Sally will often chat with monsters off-camera, and occasionally Mr. Harryhand. Special assistants, Zombette, Zomboy, and Mr. Harryhand can be seen in Sally's shows from 2005 through 2012. Sally's on and off sidekick horror host, 'Slo Frank' Christopher Inlow has made numerous appearances on Sally's shows.

In 2008, Sally the Zombie Cheerleader was featured in the Jonathan Maberry book, Zombie CSU: The Forensics of the Living Dead.[3]
In 2006-2008, Sally made appearances in Northern Virginia on the new live television and Internet program "Monster Madhouse Live," starring "Karlos Borloff", a.k.a. Jerry Moore. She is featured alongside fellow horror hosts in the documentary "American Scary" (2006), which screened at the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con.
Sally has been featured in horror host trading cards, a Sally bobblehead, Mini-Sally figure, a plush Sally 'tear apart' doll, and skull hair accessories through Rob Fleck of PhoenixComicsToys[4].
Sally the Zombie Cheerleader shows can be seen on The Vortexx and The Monster Channel. Sally has appeared on numerous horror host shows including Count Gore De Vol, OSI 74 Cinema Insomnia, and Bobby Gammonster's Monster Movie Night.
Sally the Zombie Cheerleader keeps busy as she approaches her 20th year of horror hosting. She has been a semi-regular convention guest at Horrorhound in Cincinnati and Cinema Wasteland in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2015 she wrote The Zombie Cheerleader's Big Book of Brains[5] and The Memoirs of Doctor Creep[6].
Recognition
In 2020, Sally the Zombie Cheerleader was inducted into "The Official Horror Host Hall of Fame" as Nicole Galeano (a.k.a. Nicole M. Brooks).[7] The induction was held on September 11, 2021 at Horrorhound in Cincinnati.
