Salman Farsi University of Kazerun is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in Kazerun, Fars Province, Iran. The university was founded in 1953 and is officially recognized by Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (the government ministry of science, research and technology in Iran). In 1372 Salman Farsi University of Kazerun had first started its activities as teacher training college for Shiraz University. This university then started its activities separately as a public university. The current president of the university is Dr. Gharib Fazel Nia. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of disciplines.[1][2]
