Salute to Service Award
The NFL Salute to Service Award is given to an NFL player, alumni, or team personnel who contributes the most to supporting the military community. The reward is presented by USAA. The recipient receives it during the NFL Honors award show which takes place the night before the Super Bowl. USAA contributes $25,000 to organizations (in tribute of the winner) representing all parts of the military. The award was first given out in 2011.
