Salvador Vieira Barata Gomes (born 31 March 2008), known as Salvador Gomes, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a centre-back for FC Porto, currently featuring for the club's under-19 squad.
Early life and career
Born in Vila Real, Portugal, Gomes progressed through FC Porto's youth academy, moving from FC Porto U15 to U17 in July 2023, and to U19 in July 2025. He is described as technically well-developed, with good passing quality and strong tactical awareness for his age.
International career
Gomes earned his first call-up to a Portugal youth national team on 3 November 2022. He has since represented Portugal at under-15, under-16, under-18, and under-19 level.
