Salvatore Caizzone
Salvatore Caizzone (born 1964) is an Italian business executive and investor. He is a former Executive Vice President and Global Executive Board member at Reckitt Benckiser and later served as CEO of the Austrian energy drink company Power Horse. He has founded investment and advisory firms and holds leadership roles in several food and beverage companies in the Middle East.
Early career
Caizzone began his career at Procter & Gamble in sales and marketing before joining Reckitt Benckiser in 1996. Over nearly two decades, he held senior leadership positions, including Executive Vice President. During his tenure, he oversaw operations across multiple regions and served on the company's Global Executive Board.[1][2]
Power Horse
In January 2014, Caizzone became CEO of Power Horse, an Austrian energy drink brand owned by Spitz GmbH. The brand is distributed in more than 50 countries, with a strong presence in the Middle East and Africa. Under his leadership, the company moved its commercial headquarters to Dubai in 2017 and secured a partnership with Manchester City F.C. in 2019.[3][4]
Investments
In 2014, Caizzone founded the investment and advisory firm Vis Mundi in Dubai. Through Vis Mundi, he acquired Kcal Group, a UAE-based health food company focused on subscription-based meal plans.[5][6]
In 2025, he joined Homegrown Ventures, a consumer venture capital firm based in Delaware and focused on early-stage brands from the MENA and South Asia regions, as a Venture Partner.[7]
Personal life
Caizzone is married and has four children. He and his family have lived in Italy, Russia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.
