Sam Brock is an American journalist and is a Miami-based correspondent for NBC News.[1] He joined NBC-owned and operated station KNTV as a reporter and anchor in 2012,[2] before moving over to NBC News in 2019 as a Miami-based correspondent.[3]
In 2021, He covered his very first Olympics from Tokyo during the 2020 Summer Olympics.[4]
At one point in 2023, he continued a long-running tradition for a former colleague, retired journalist Kerry Sanders, by wearing a blue shirt, shorts, and a black belt (that Kerry used to wear as well when he reported from Miami) while he was doing a story in Miami from Miami Beach.[5]
Early life and education
He was born and raised in New York and attended Northwestern University, earning both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree.[6]
