Sam Monson

Sam Monson is an Irish football analyst and personality. He works for and is a core member of Pro Football Focus. He co-hosts the PFF NFL Podcast and PFF NFL Daily, along with writing articles for the company.

Before PFF

Sam received a degree in history and politics from Newcastle university in 2004, then in 2008 a diploma in law from the Honorable Society of King's Inn, and finally a degree in journalism from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Career at PFF

In 2011, Sam joined PFF as a player participation analyst. He was promoted to lead analyst in 2015, and then to Director of Consumer Ops in 2018. His work at PFF has put him in contact with all 32 NFL teams, and he's often a guest on other NFL shows, including The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
