Sam Stein
Sam Stein is a politics editor at The Daily Beast and an MSNBC contributor. He is an American journalist and podcaster who has worked for several notable media organizations.
Career
Stein began his journalism career at the Center for Public Integrity. He later joined HuffPost and served as a political reporter for Politico. In June 2017, he started working at The Daily Beast, where he currently holds the position of politics editor. Additionally, he contributes to MSNBC.
Stein has been recognized for his journalistic work, receiving the Sidney Award in 2013 for his reporting on the impact of sequestrations.

Stein earned his graduate degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
