Samebug is a software development company based in Budapest, Hungary. The company develops a debugging assistant to increase programming efficiency.[2]

Samebug was founded in 2013 by Renata Tamasi-Irsai, Arpad Tamasi and Daniel Poroszkai. In 2014 Samebug raised $350,000 from angel investors.
In May 5-16, 2014 Samebug took part in the startup accelerator organised by MIT in Boston. The program helped to establish business connections and improve entrepreneurial skills of the Samebug founders.[3]
In 2017 Samebug received another $550,000 seed investment from investors PortfoLion, Day One Capital Management and Balazs Fejes.[4]
Products[edit]
Samebug uses an algorithm which performs a semantic analysis on stack traces which are then automatically grouped and ranked. If someone had a similar problem, community solutions are listed. If the issue cannot be found in Samebug's database, it will connect you with an expert.[5] Samebug employs a Software as a Service approach with tasks performed in the "cloud".
