History

Samebug was founded in 2013 by Renata Tamasi-Irsai, Arpad Tamasi and Daniel Poroszkai. In 2014 Samebug raised $350,000 from angel investors.

In May 5–16, 2014 Samebug took part in the startup accelerator organised by MIT in Boston. The program helped to establish business connections and improve entrepreneurial skills of the Samebug founders.[3]

Products

Samebug uses an algorithm which performs a semantic analysis on stack traces which are then automatically grouped and ranked. If someone had a similar problem, community solutions are listed. If the issue cannot be found in Samebug's database, it will connect you with an expert.[5] Samebug employs a Software as a Service approach with tasks performed in the "cloud".
