The College Football Rivalry between the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs and the Samford University Bulldogs started in 1906. The rivalry grew even more when Samford left the Ohio Valley Conference and joined the Southern Conference in 2008. These two schools are now notable rivals in the Southern Conference. Chattanooga has seven Southern Conference Championships while Samford only has two. These two schools have met forty-eight times on the gridiron, Chattanooga has won thirty-four times, while Samford has won eleven times and three games ended in a tie.
