Samhitha Kasibhatta is the youngest Indian girl child ever to have passed Engineering in the standard 10+2+4 pattern of education, at the age of 16.

She has secured a cumulative of 8.85 GPA in her Engineering (Electrical & Electronics stream) from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (2014-2018).

Earlier, at the age of 10, Samhitha appeared for SSC examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, in 2012 and cleared with 8.8GPA[1]. At the age of 12,[2] she appeared for the Intermediate Public Examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examinations, Andhra Pradesh and secured 88.6% in MPC stream.

Achievements[edit]

  • At the age of 5, Samhitha wrote a 15 page article on Solar System, and obtained appreciation from Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, while he held the office of the President of India. She got the chance to meet him, during his visit to Hyderabad in 2007

  • Praised by the renowned Carnatic Classical vocalist Dr. Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna
  • She was applauded by the first woman President of India, Smt. Pratibha Patil for an article and drawing which expressed her views on terrorism
  • Complimented by UPA chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi
  • Appreciation Letter from Dr. Manmohan Singh, while he held the office of Prime Minister of India. At the age of 7, Samhitha wrote a letter requesting him to propose a policy to further increase National Income ( income in terms of goods rather than money income )
  • Got a 30 minute special appointment from the Governor of A.P. & Telangana, Sri E.S.L. Narasimhan
  • Acclamation from UNICEF for her article, drawing and for having contributed the fee waiver provided to Samhitha by her school, for a child’s education
  • Wishes from W.H.O. (Samhitha had sent her views on the Organization and also a related drawing to W.H.O (India) Representative)
  • November 14th, 2009: Delivered a speech on the topic ‘An Ideal Teacher’ and received standing ovation from Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. K. Rosaiah, and other dignitaries
  • Received prestigious award at A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi from Dr C. Rangarajan, Former Chief Economic Advisor to the then Prime Minister, Government of India
  • State Child Award 2007 for exceptional achievement from late Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy
  • At the age of 5, she delivered a speech regarding children’s problems on Children’s Day, November 14, 2006, in the presence of late Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and other distinguished personalities

Her Thoughts[edit]

In view of increase in pace of depletion of fossil fuels, and their constantly increasing prices, there is an urgent need to focus on renewable energy.

Samhitha's Hobbies[edit]

During leisure, Samhitha engages herself in activities like Drawing, Singing, Shuttle badminton, and Children's Event management.
