Sampie Mastriet (born 3 August 1990) is a South African professional rugby union player, who most recently played with the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the domestic Currie Cup competition.[1] His usual position is wing.
Career
After representing the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] at several youth tournaments, he joined the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in 2010.
He made his first team debut for the Blue Bulls in the 2011 Vodacom Cup against his former team [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[2] He made several appearances in this competition over the next two seasons and made his Currie Cup debut in the 2012 Currie Cup Premier Division against the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]].[3]
He also played for [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] in the 2009 and 2010 Varsity Cup competitions.
In 2013, he was included in the squad for the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens.[4]
Mastriet moved across the Jukskei River to join the [[{{{tan}}}|{{{t}}}]] for 2015.[5]
