A writer/film-maker by profession, Sampurn Anand was originally trained to be a chef. But as fate would have it, he landed up in the big bad city of Mumbai, India; and took instant liking to the world of films/television.

That was the year 1998. Over the next 12 years, he went on to write more than 7000 episodes of various television serials and couple of movies. He has been mentioned in numerous articles and has a good following on IMDb

In between, he also served India's premier television network - Zee TV as Asst. Vice President.

Still not satisfied with all the achievements, Sampurn looked westward in the year 2011 and landed in LA, Hollywood. Currently working on Hollywood movies and television shows. He wrote and directed short film "The Last Prayer" that went on to win numerous awards at various film festivals across the globe.
