Samuel Osei Mensah known professionally as Samcilla Baakojr (born December 16, 1992) is a Ghanaian blogger[1], digital marketing engineer and entrepreneur. He is best known for his blog NetbuzzAfrica.com.

Early Life[edit]

Samuel was born in Ridge, Accra, on December 16, 1992. He is the son of Samuel Osei Mensah Sr. and Joana Adutwumwaah (b. 1965). His ancestry includes Ashanti, and Akyem. His father was a Ghanaian banker, and his mother served on the board of directors for First Cane Weavers Association in Ghana.

He is the second of his name in his family.

Career[edit]

As a Computer Engineer and Technical Lead with 7 years of experience and track record in web applications development, integration and service delivery, social media and advanced digital marketing engineering.

He has extensive experience in globally distributed keyword search, social media marketing[2], digital media buying, solution design, website development, content marketing, SEO and complex digital marketing.

A creative catalyst with experience in client services and projects in Digital Marketing, he has helped both local and international corporations such as; Marriott International, Voltacars Rental Services, Range Rover, UASG under ICANN, Universal McCann, South Africa Tourism, South African Airways, Delvv, Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company (YFM, Happy FM & e.TV Ghana), Music In Africa Foundation (ACCES Music Conference) and Ted Conference (TedxAccra).

Samuel uses the web to drive online visibility that generate leads and that have resulted in new businesses.

As a blogger, he has interviewed top musicians and personalities including 2019 BET Best International Flow winner Sarkodie, celebrated actress Jackie Appiah, Kafui Danku, 3x AFRIMA dancehall star Stonebwoy, English comedian cum rapper Michael Dapaah (also known as Big Shaq) among many others.

Personal Life[edit]

In an interview with Graphic, Samcilla stated in regard to his line of work: "Effective Web Marketing is much more than designing a great website. Ongoing Search Engine Optimization, social media marketing, & online advertising all play very important roles in the continued health & success of a good online presence."

Aside driving visibility online to generate leads and new businesses, he has passion for photography and poetry.

He is also bridging the digital inclusion gap with GrisGlobal.org, a nonprofit platform for Internet studies.
